I will begin this essay by showing my appreciation for the selection of the topic. If I am not wrong this week’s topic also touches the topics, we wrote about in the last two, three weeks. This is by far the most interesting topic to work upon till date. What is persuasion? Persuasion is basically making the other person do something which he initially does not want to do. It aims to change the attitude of someone or a group towards something or an idea. According to Dr Cialdini, there are six strategies to marketing and they are reciprocity, commitment, social proof, liking, authority and scarcity.
